Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion are the ethos of the new world. They represent individuals from diverse cultures that need to be accommodated and supported to get an equal opportunity in terms of education and wellbeing.

As an organization, it becomes imperative that the goals of DEI are followed through. ABICB ensures that it maintains and ensures the qualified and accredited institutes follow the ethical calibrated values of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

Diversity

When we address diversity in society or in an educational organisation, we look at individuals from diverse cultural and socio economic backgrounds. They could be ethnic individuals with varied accents or understanding and computing capabilities. A society or a group is never diverse, however, individuals that are from diverse backgrounds need to be supported and accommodated individually. At ABICB we ensure that the cultural values of Diversity are deeply embedded with the educators who need sensitising trainings.

Equity

Equity cannot be treated as equality, as many sections of society are dealt with a better hand or certain undue advantages. These privileges cannot be quantified however similar people in terms of gender, ethnicity, race, or colour lack those advantages. At ABICB we ensure that all individuals are treated with equity and receive the education in an unbiased environment that is entirely conducive to learning and development.

Inclusion

The term inclusion cannot be loosely or interchangeably used with equity. When we speak about Inclusion we are addressing the suppressed sections of society that we previously not allowed basic rights to everyday events like education or voting. At ABICB we look at inclusion holistically by bringing on board all concepts that enable support and inclusiveness to all sections of society.

As the highest accreditation board for educational institutions, we honour and address all these sensitive issues with utmost care so that the institutes and educational organisation who desire to get accredited also bring light to the matters that usually hamper the stream of effortless learning and development and thus create an ambience for equal opportunities for all the sections of society.
